Glasgow Underground

Imperium have completed the replacement of the voice alarm system at all 15 Glasgow underground stations. The project has been ongoing for over two years and numerous technical and physical problems have been overcome to deliver the state of the art system. Touch screen controls and intreated digital recordings and announcements facilities are provided at the system control centre Broom Loan. The stations are connected via the underground existing data network which carries both audio and fault information in IP format. The individual stations VA systems are also connected to each of the stations exciting fire section systems are constitute the primary form of evacuation for the entire network.
