ImPerium started out as an idea. We recognised that fire & security systems and building management systems were converging, furthermore open protocols and specifically, Internet Protocol (commonly referred to as IP) was the way forward. Having started out as a software company, ImPerium has rapidly developed into a specialist supplier who fulfils all aspects of your project and has developed an extensive service and maintenance capability covering the entire UK.

History
2008 – started out as a subsidiary of a large integration company, concentrating on open protocol integration software.
2008 – 2009 – The company, still working as a subsidiary business, developed and launched Imperium software, which received numerous industry plaudits and developed a strong following.
2009 – 2010 – Imperium became independent and its software was selected as the platform for a site wide upgrade from conventional to IP CCTV at one of the UK’s largest international airports.
2010 – Present Day – The company are now based in a purpose built studio development with state of the art communications systems which allow both our satellite office locations and our engineering staff to be accessed as extensions from our central telephone number.
